Happy Friday, Grade 2 Families! It was so wonderful to connect with many of you at the open house. The students gave their best effort, showed determination, and pushed themselves to beat their personal goals. Welcome to Grade 2! What an amazing first week! In just 3.5 days, we’ve already seen so much growth. This month, our big focus is on building strong expectations for behaviour and learning how to live well together as a community. Our classroom motto is: Work Hard and Be Kind. We have 27 children in our class. It’s a dynamic and exciting place! A few reminders: The importance of bedtime and routine can’t be overstated. A well-rested child is a successful learner! Please remember a water bottle and a healthy lunch each day. This week in Grade 2: Getting to know you activities. Setting expectations for both behaviour and academics. Happy Friday!
