What a busy and exciting week we’ve had in Grade 2! Can you believe the leprechauns remembered they were almost trapped last year? Those mischievous little sprites certainly made quite the mess of our classroom! Along with our St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans, we were honoured to welcome Indigenous Elder Mr. Hal Eagle Tail , who shared stories about the spring equinox and sang traditional songs with us.   Grade 2 Weekly Update What a fun and full week we’ve had in Grade 2! No School Next Friday Parent-teacher conferences will take place. Please book a time to come celebrate your child’s growth. Every child has strengths, and every child has challenges - both are completely normal! We truly are a team, and it really does take a village. There's also the Book Fair on Thursday night and Friday. Many great books and a great fundraiser for our school library! Together, we’ll create a vibrant picture celebrating the diverse backgrounds that make up our school community! Social Studies We explored needs and wants and learned about natural resources —a great lead-in to next week’s new topic: levels of government . (New curriculum = new learning for stu...
